ANNADAN DAY (KAKA - KAKI JEVAN KARA)

We conducted our Annadan - affectionately titled "Kaka-Kaki Jevan Kara" It was a heartwarming experience for all Rotarians present. We were joined by Club President Dr. Dipankar, Club Secretary Rtn. Jayashree, Triten President Rtn. Sidharth, Rtn. Anushka and Dr. Smita.We spent quality time with the senior citizens, listening to their stories and sharing laughter. One of our Rotarians even did palm reading for a Kaka, and we clicked many selfies and fun activities that brought big smiles.The day was made special with a cake-cutting for Rtn. Raj Raman’s birthday. Rtn. Anushka cut the cake with seniors on his behalf as we all sang together.Seniors were served a wholesome meal with sweets. Some delighted us with soulful songs. We also visited rooms and offered medical guidance where needed. As we left, they lovingly said, "Please come back again" Sincere thanks to Mr. Sudhir Waghmare, in-charge of the home, and all the caring staff.A truly memorable day of service, fellowship.

Community health checkup camp for special children

Jayashree Lakshminarayan, represented the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Valley Golfers at a Community Health Initiative today. In line with our core value of "Service Above Self", Rtn. Jayashree joined hands with the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Hillside for their Health Checkup Camp dedicated to special children, hosted at the Helen Keller Institute, Mahape. This impactful event stands as a wonderful testament to inter-club collaboration and our shared commitment to empowering vulnerable segments of our community. DIGITAL/ VIRTUAL PROJECT ( service+ relation)

Mega Digital Event: Online Doctor's Day Tribute We proudly began the new Rotary year with our first-ever Mega Digital Event — an Online Doctor’s Day Tribute. This initiative featured a gratitude video with messages from school students, hospital maushis, teenagers, Gen Z & youth, senior citizens, and Rotarians from Rotary Club of Valley Golfers, Bhajiwali, Nariyal Paniwala, and our own club. The video was shared with doctors across the region on Doctor’s Day and received an overwhelming response. We received appreciation messages and heartfelt thank-yous from many doctors. The initiative greatly enhanced our club’s public image and spread positivity in the community. We also launched a digital "Kharghar Doctors Directory" e-book featuring local doctors. It was shared with the President of Kharghar Doctors Association for circulation, helping build a stronger bond between the medical fraternity and our Rotary club. A digital, meaningful, and impactful start to the Rotary year.
